Happy Holidays! Isla Pacifika has holiday hours to spend time with friends and family. We will begin classes Jan. 9, 2013.

Tahitian Dance Costume Making

If you are in our class, we will show you how to make Tahitian costumes. There aren't any good websites or blogs showing how to make them.

First is to find the materials. Depending on where you live, you can go to the store and get it, otherwise you need to buy it online.

Thanks giving

Isla Pacifika is giving thanks this holiday season. We are grateful for all the gifts we have been given. We also want to give to the community. We will be teaching refugees for Heartland Alliance the Aloha Spirit. We are thankful for what we have, and want to spread the love of the Polynesian Islands. Remember, there is no class Weds., November 21, 2012 for the celebrating of Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving!

Isla Pacifika is Expanding!

Isla Pacifika is welcoming more members to its family! Welcome the little additions in 2011 and 2012. Look for our keiki classes coming in the future!

The cold days are coming up, come join Isla Pacifika in class to take you back to the islands! Learn to shake your hips and stay warm 4057 Damen side entrance on Damen Weds. nights 8:30pm to 10:00pm First class is free!!!

Misericordia

Isla Pacifika is performing at Misericordia today at 1:30pm. It is at 6300 N. Ridge. We will be performing for the residents and staff and are very excited!!

Skokie Festival of Cultures May 19, 2012

We took a nice long vacation this year, in part because family from Guam were in. But now we started classes again. We are excited and ready to move our hips!
